Investor Information
Odyssian Technology is a privately held limited liability corporation with a portfolio of tangible and intangible assets including a research and development facility, prototyping systems, thin film deposition equipment, engineering and analysis systems, government contracting systems, technology demonstration systems, and intellectual property.
Odyssian Technology's core business is the creative development and application of technology to serve the needs of the U.S. Government and commercial industry.
The technologies that are developed under U.S. federal funding and that are not adopted for use by the sponsoring agency are commercialized through sale or license to commercial enterprises when such enterprises are well established in their respective fields of business and when the technology complements or is an improvement to existing commercial products. When the technology is novel to the extent that complementary products and established market do not exist, commercialization is achieve through the spin-off of a new company that may be backed by individual, institutional, and/or venture capital investors.

CURRENT INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES
sensorPIPELINETM
Product Description:
sensorPIPELINETM is a smart pipeline system developed for the pipeline industry. This cloud-based health and integrity monitoring system includes sensor networks integrated within pipeline components having embedded sensors. Networkable pipeline components include; smart seals, smart pipes, smart repair sleeves, and smart cased pipe. This system alerts of leaks across seals and containment structures, as well as alerts of impacts or earth movements that exceed set threshold limits. This system allows the isolation of pipeline segments that are leaking, that have been impacted or that have been subjected to excessive earth movement.
Current Technology Maturity or Technology Readiness Level (TRL):
The estimated [collective] technology readiness level is TRL 5* for the entire sensorPIPELINE system. Some of the smart component and sensor technologies have higher TRL levels and are commercially available.
Use of Additional Investment:
Pilot system installation, demonstration, and evaluation in an operational environment. Product promotion and marketing. Initial operational field installations, observations, customer surveying, and customer qualification. Target TRL level to be achieved through additional investment is TRL 9*.
PACASTM
Product Description:
PACASTM is a computer controlled electrical power distribution system for use in military shelters, mobile power grids, and emergency back-up power systems. This system provides load balancing across the phases of a poly-phase power system. An optional web-based interface allows for monitoring and control of the electrical loads being drawn at each outlet and on each leg of a three-phase power distribution system. PACASTM automatically balances single phase loads across the three legs of a three-phase power system to increase energy efficiency and to reduce maintenance costs associated with unbalanced systems.
Current Technology Maturation or Technology Readiness Level (TRL):
The estimated technology readiness level is TRL 6* for military combat or harsh environment applications and TRL 7* for non-military business or industrial applications.
Use of Additional Investment:
Pilot system installation, demonstration, and evaluation in an operational military combat or harsh environment application. System installation and qualification in a non-military application. Product promotion and marketing. Operational field installations, observations, customer surveying, and customer qualification. Target TRL level to be achieved through additional investment is TRL 9*.
* TRL Definitions:
TRL 5 - Testing of prototypes has been conducted in a representative environment. Basic technology elements have been integrated within reasonably realistic supporting elements. Prototyping implementations conform to target environment and interfaces.
TRL 6 - Representative or prototype system is tested in a relevant environment.
TRL 7 - Prototype near or at planned operational system. Demonstration of an actual system prototype in an operational environment.
TRL 8 - Actual system completed and qualified through test and demonstration.
TRL 9 - Actual application of the technology in its final form and under mission or operational conditions.
