About the Opportunity
The selected candidate will be a key contributor to the development of technology and products related to web enabled smart wireless sensor networks and distributed power controls, integration of uninterruptible power system (UPS), and multifunctional structures having power access and distribution.
· The candidate will be responsible for software development, design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment of software architecture, design patterns, standards and protocols required.
· The candidate will have the responsibility to develop embedded wireless products, sensor networks, networking protocols for mobile device, graphic user interface and web based applications.
· Highly competent and ambitious individuals are sought who must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and are interested in the challenge and career potential of joining a high technology business in either a fulltime, part time or contract position.
Required Qualifications
· Must have a BS in CS, CE, EE or equivalent required, MS preferred.
· Required Skills in C/C++, JAVA, PHP, Linux Operating Systems
· Fluent in SQL, HTML and JavaScript
· Must have software experience to develop, configure, document and troubleshoot complex algorithms, operating systems and programs.
· Must have experience in applying generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
· Must have experience with embedded wireless products, sensor networks, Zigbee, TinyOS, networking protocols and low-power devices.
· Must test software using remote debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers
· Experience with wireless protocols such as Zigbee, Bluetooth, Ultra Wideband, 802.11, 802.15, CDMA, GSM is a plus
